Organizing Baby Onesies or Baby Clothes
When I first found out we were expecting twins, I had no idea how we could afford enough clothes for both of them! Two baby showers later, I had more Baby Onesies than I knew what to do, and I struggled to find somewhere to organize everything.
I received as gifts many different sizes of Baby Onesies, from newborn to toddler. Friends and family members who found out we were expecting also gave us many nice hand-me-downs. I quickly realized I wasn’t going to have to buy any clothes for our boys for quite some time! After looking over all the clothing, I decided it would be easiest to organize the clothes by size.
I first washed everything and sorted all the clothing by size. I then went to Walmart and bought some very inexpensive large plastic storage containers to store larger sizes.
The boys have two dressers in their bedrooms. I filled one dresser with newborn-sized clothes and the other dresser with size 3-6 months.
I then labeled three plastic storage containers 6-9 months onesie, 9-12 months, and 18-24 months. After sorting all the clothes, I organized the storage containers on a shelf in the bedroom closet.
Whenever I get new clothing, I can go right to the storage container with the correct size. This system has made it very easy for me to see what I have on hand and what I still need to buy Baby Onesies.
